?非謂語動詞的形式及句法功能
?非謂語動詞的核心考點1.非謂語動詞作狀語(1)不定式作狀語①表示目的I stpped the car t take a shrt break as I was feeling tired. ②不定式作結(jié)果狀語表示出乎意料的結(jié)果,動詞不定式前常加nly。Gerge returned after the war,nly t be tld that his wife had left him.
(2)現(xiàn)在分詞作狀語①一般式ding表示動作和謂語動詞同時或幾乎同時發(fā)生,與句子的主語是主動關(guān)系。The sun began t rise in the sky,bathing the muntain in glden light. (主動關(guān)系)②完成式having dne表示動作發(fā)生在謂語動作之前,與句子主語是主動關(guān)系。I gt t the ffice earlier that day, having caught the 7∶30 train frm Paddingtn.
③被動式having been dne表示動作發(fā)生在謂語動作之前,與句子的主語是被動關(guān)系。Having been asked t wrk vertime that evening, I missed a wnderful film. (被動意義,非謂語動詞的動詞的動作發(fā)生在謂語動詞動作之前)(3)過去分詞作狀語過去分詞作狀語時,與句子主語之間是被動關(guān)系。Seen frm the tp f the muntain, the city is very beautiful.(被動關(guān)系)
2.非謂語動詞作定語(1)現(xiàn)在分詞作定語現(xiàn)在分詞主動形式(短語)作定語與所修飾的名詞之間存在著邏輯上的主謂關(guān)系,表示該動作的主動和進(jìn)行;現(xiàn)在分詞被動形式(補語)作定語與所修飾的名詞之間存在著邏輯上的動賓關(guān)系,表示該動作的被動和進(jìn)行。Laura was away in Paris fr ver a week. When she gt hme, there was a pile f mails waiting fr her.The building is being built nw is ur schl.
(2)不定式作定語不定式作定語表示未做的事情。His first bk t be published next mnth is based n a true stry.不定式作定語的特殊用法:①下列詞語后常接不定式作定語:chance, right, curage, prmise, time, pprtunity, way, the first, the secnd, the last, the nly等。②不定式作定語和所修飾的名詞在邏輯上有主謂關(guān)系。There is n ne t lk after her.
③不定式與被修飾的名詞在邏輯上有動賓關(guān)系。She is nw lking fr a rm t live in.(3)過去分詞作定語過去分詞(短語)作定語與它所修飾的名詞在邏輯上有被動關(guān)系,表示該動作的被動或完成。Yu cannt accept an pinin ffered t yu unless it is based n facts.His first bk published last mnth is based n a true stry.注意:表示心理狀態(tài)的動詞-ing形式,意為“令人……的”;動詞-ed形式,意為“(人)感到……的”,也可修飾體現(xiàn)內(nèi)心感受的lk,expressin, tears, smile, vice等名詞。
3.非謂語動詞作賓語(1)動詞affrd, prmise, refuse, expect, hpe, learn, ffer,wish,want,fail, plan,agree, frget, like,prefer,decide,manage,try,arrange,determine,desire等后面接不定式作賓語;動詞cme,get,grw后接不定式作賓語時,意為“逐漸地……”。David refused t accept my invitatin.She has a ht temper, but yu will grw t like her.注意:下列單詞或短語后可接“疑問詞+不定式”作賓語:teach,decide, wnder, shw, learn,frget,ask,find ut, advise,discuss等。I dn't knw hw t deal with this kind f matter.
(2)①動詞admit, appreciate, avid,cnsider(考慮), delay,dislike,enjy,escape,excuse,finish,imagine,keep,mind,miss,practise,risk,resist, suggest等后要接動名詞作賓語。Bill suggested hlding a meeting n what t d fr the Exp during the vactatin.②動詞短語can't stand, give up, feel like, keep n,insist n, lk frward t,put ff,,bject t,be busy (in),get dwn t, have difficulty/truble (in),have a gd/wnderful/hard time(in), have fun等后要接動名詞作賓語。I had great difficulty(in) finding the suitable fd n the menu in that restaurant.
③介詞后要接動名詞作賓語,如what abut, hw abut, be fnd f, be gd at等的介詞后接動名詞。注意n/upn ding sth.=as sn as引導(dǎo)的從句,作此意講時n/upn后也可以接名詞。On his arrival/On arriving at the statin, he fund the train had just started.注意:①表示一種傾向多接動名詞作賓語;表示某一特定的或具體的行動,多接不定式作賓語。I like listening t music, but tday I dn't like t.
②want,require,need表“需要”講,后用不定式時,要用其被動形式;用動名詞時,用其主動形式(表被動意義)。The patient required t be examined.The patient required examining.4.非謂語動詞作主語(1)動名詞作主語Hearing hw thers react t the bk yu have just read creates an added pleasure.It is n use crying ver spilt milk.(動名詞短語作主語,it作形式主語)
(2)不定式作主語T see is t believe.=Seeing is believing.It is imprtant t respect peple.(不定式短語作主語,it作形式主語)5.非謂語動詞作賓補(1)分詞作補語的區(qū)別①現(xiàn)在分詞作賓補的兩大特征:一是賓語與現(xiàn)在分詞有主謂關(guān)系;二是多是一些感官動詞(短語)后,現(xiàn)在分詞所表示的動作正在進(jìn)行。
可接現(xiàn)在分詞作賓補的動詞(短語)常見的有:have,see,hear,find,get,leave,ntice,watch,keep,start,set,catch,smell,feel,send,listen t,lk at等。I lked up and nticed a snake winding its way up the tree t catch its breakfast.I wn't have yu speaking t yur dad like that.I heard an English sng being sung by a little girl when I passed by her rm yesterday.(被動,正在進(jìn)行)
②過去分詞作賓補的兩大特征:一是及物動詞的過去分詞作賓補與賓語有動賓關(guān)系;二是不及物動詞的過去分詞作賓補與賓語有主謂關(guān)系,多用來表示動作已完成??山舆^去分詞作賓補的動詞有:have,see,hear,find,leave,want,make等。Claire had her luggage checked an hur befre her plane left.I was surprised t find my hmetwn changed s much.
(2)不定式作補語①接帶t的不定式作賓補,此類動詞(短語)有:advise, allw, ask, cause, cmmand, encurage, expect, frbid, frce, get, invite, leave, like, mean, rder, permit, persuade, prefer, request, tell, want, warn, wish, call n, depend n/upn,lng fr, wait fr等。I didn't mean yu t hear it.We're all lnging fr the new term t begin.
②接不帶t的不定式作賓補的動詞(短語)有:make,have,let等使役動詞以及see, watch, ntice, bserve, lk at, feel, hear, listen t 等感官動詞。如果這些動詞或短語用于被動語態(tài),則t不可省略。動詞help后的不定式符號t可以省略,也可以保留。Let thse in need understand that we will g all ut t help them.She was seen t enter the manager's ffice ten minutes ag.

6.非謂語動詞作表語(1)動名詞作表語時,說明主語的內(nèi)容。The queen's wrk is laying eggs.(2)不定式作表語時,說明主語尚未發(fā)生的動作,或表示將來的動作。His ambitin is t g t Harvard University.注意:現(xiàn)在分詞或過去分詞作表語時,通常為分詞化的形容詞。
