    Culture is like the wind.It is invisible,yet its effect can be seen and felt.文化像風(fēng)一樣。它雖然無(wú)影無(wú)蹤,但影響卻無(wú)所不在。
    Subjective clauses
    1.在主從復(fù)合句中,充當(dāng)主語(yǔ)的從句叫主語(yǔ)從句。
    一般位于句首,與陳述句中主語(yǔ)位置相同。
    e.g. That he will jin ur cmpany is certain.
    Whether yu are right remains unknwn.
    放句首時(shí)只能用whether,不能用if
    在從句中不作成分,也沒(méi)有意義,但不能省略
    That yu dn’t like him is nne f my business. 你不喜歡他,這不關(guān)我的事。
    Whether she will attend r nt is still a questin. 她是否會(huì)出席仍是一個(gè)問(wèn)題。
    It was nt knwn whether/if he wuld knw.還不知道他是否知道。
    在從句中作主語(yǔ)、賓語(yǔ)或定語(yǔ),不能省略
    此類主語(yǔ)從句可以轉(zhuǎn)換為以it作形式主語(yǔ)的句子
    when、where、 why、 hw等
    Wh will attend the meeting is still unknwn. 誰(shuí)會(huì)出席這次會(huì)議還未知。What yu have dne might d harm t thers. 你的行為可能傷害別人。Which plan is better will be discussed tmrrw. 哪個(gè)計(jì)劃更好將于明天被討論。
    Why he didn’t cme here is nt clear t anyne.=It is nt clear t anyne why he didn’t cme here. 誰(shuí)也不清楚他為什么沒(méi)來(lái)。
    It做形式主語(yǔ)的主語(yǔ)從句
    It+be+n.+從句
    It+be+adj.+從句
    It+be+過(guò)去分詞+從句
    It is a pity that we lst the chance.遺憾的是我們錯(cuò)過(guò)了機(jī)會(huì)。It is a fact that he tld a lie yesterday.他昨天說(shuō)謊是事實(shí)。
    It is pssible that she will cme back tmrrw. 很可能她明天會(huì)回來(lái)。It is bvius that the earth is rund. 很明顯地球是圓的。
    It is said that he is n hliday. 據(jù)說(shuō)他在度假。It is reprted that the price had raised. 據(jù)報(bào)道價(jià)格已經(jīng)上漲了。
    1、從句的語(yǔ)序要用陳述句的語(yǔ)序。
    a mystery. 他為什么做那件事依然是個(gè)謎。

    2、從句做主語(yǔ)時(shí),主句謂語(yǔ)動(dòng)詞的單復(fù)數(shù)
    ①單個(gè)主語(yǔ)從句做主語(yǔ)時(shí),謂語(yǔ)動(dòng)詞用單數(shù)
    ②由兩個(gè)或多個(gè)連接詞引導(dǎo)一個(gè)主語(yǔ)從句時(shí),謂語(yǔ)動(dòng)詞也用單數(shù)
    ③如果用and 連接兩個(gè)或兩個(gè)以上的主語(yǔ)從句做主語(yǔ)時(shí),謂語(yǔ)動(dòng)詞用復(fù)數(shù)
    1. When we shall have ur sprts meeting _____nt been decided yet.
    2.When and where we shall have ur sprts meeting_____nt been decided yet.
    3.When they will start and where they will g______nt been decided yet.
    ④what 和wh 引導(dǎo)主語(yǔ)從句時(shí),主句謂語(yǔ)的數(shù)應(yīng)與主句中作表語(yǔ)的名詞保持一致。
    1.What she needs ______ I need ______ bks.
    3.Wh yu will g with ______ yur brther. 4.Wh I will g with ______ the brthers.
    3、whether 引導(dǎo)的主語(yǔ)從句,如果用了形式主語(yǔ)it ,引導(dǎo)詞whether 可以換成if , 如果whether 從句在句首或后面有r nt 時(shí),不能換成if.
    Whether they will sell the huse is nt decided yet. It is nt decided yet whether they will sell the huse.
    不可用if替換
    Objective clauses
    賓語(yǔ)從句就是由一個(gè)句子來(lái)構(gòu)成主句的賓語(yǔ),并有一個(gè)連接詞引導(dǎo)。
    只用whether不用if的情況
    1.)whether可以與r nt直接連用,if不能。 2.)當(dāng)賓語(yǔ)從句提到句首時(shí),只能用whether引導(dǎo)。
    Let me knw whether yu can cme r nt. Let me knw if yu can cme r nt.
    Whether it is true , I can’t tell.If it is true r nt, I can’t tell.

    1.當(dāng)主句是一般現(xiàn)在時(shí),賓語(yǔ)從句的時(shí)態(tài)不作限制,我們可以根據(jù)句子的需要使用任何一種時(shí)態(tài)。(主現(xiàn)從任)

    2.當(dāng)主句是一般過(guò)去時(shí)的時(shí)候,賓語(yǔ)從句必須運(yùn)用相應(yīng)的過(guò)去的某一種時(shí)態(tài)。(主過(guò)從過(guò))
