They were heading at speed in the directin f the swimming area.Mst peple knew t lk ut fr them, but frm the screams that started cming frm the beach, I culd tell smene was in thinking, I ran dwn int the street, hlding my bdybard (沖浪板)n the way and shuted at a stranger t call the castguard(海岸警衛(wèi)) My neighbr Tm had heard the screaming as well and was als utside with his bdybard, s tgether we rushed t the steps that led dwn t the we gt clser, we discvered the waves had pulled a by and a girl int the?pen sea. I knew that the nearest bat wuld take at least 30 minutes t reach us. I wasn't used t this srt f emergency--I'd never been trained as a lifeguard--but I didn’t think twice abut trying t save them.I suppse in a way I wanted t?impress everyne; at 19, a deal like that can seem like a gd pprtunity t?shw ff.
