    1. The past participle as the predicative 過去分詞作表語
    表語是說明主語的身份、性質(zhì)、品性、特征和狀態(tài)的,表語位于系動詞之后,與系動詞聯(lián)系十分緊密,有系動詞就有表語,有表語就有系動詞。通常由名詞、形容詞、介詞短語、不定式、動名詞或從句來充當(dāng)。如果句子的表語也是由一個句子充當(dāng)?shù)?那么這個充當(dāng)表語的句子就叫做表語從句,表語就是起表述作用的句子成分之一。
    觀察下列句子所作成分并總結(jié)規(guī)律
    1. She was mved by the mving speech.2. She seems surprised at the news.3. They lked frightened t hear the frightening sund.4. The dr is clsed.
    過去分詞可置于______后作_____語,用來表示主語的性質(zhì)、特征或_______。其前的系動詞包括be動詞、感官動詞get, feel, remain, seem, lk, becme等多種形式。
    用法① 過去分詞可放在連系動詞be,get,feel,remain,seem,lk,becme等之后作表語,表示主語所處的狀態(tài), 相當(dāng)于一個形容詞。
    用法② 過去分詞作表語,構(gòu)成的系表結(jié)構(gòu)與被動語態(tài)的區(qū)別:V-ed作表語,強調(diào)主語的特點或狀態(tài),相當(dāng)于形容詞;被動語態(tài)中,句子主語是動作的承受者,后面常跟by。
    常見的作表語的V-ed有:

    過去分詞做狀語表原因, 相當(dāng)于because引導(dǎo)的___________。
    ④過去分詞短語作____________狀語
    eg. He walked up and dwn the rm, lst in thught.
    =He walked up and dwn the rm, and he was lst in thught.
    eg. Surrunded by his students, the teacher went int the lab.
    =The teacher was surrunded by his students and he went int the lab.
    過去分詞表方式或伴隨時相當(dāng)于一個由_____引導(dǎo)的并列句。
    ⑤過去分詞短語作____________狀語
    eg. Laughed at by many peple, he cntinued his study.
    =Thugh he was laughed at by many peple, he cntinued his study.
    eg. Left alne at hme, she didn’t feel afraid at all.
    =Althugh she was left alne at hme, he didn’t feel afraid at all.
    過去分詞短語做狀語, 表讓步,相當(dāng)于thugh, althugh引導(dǎo)的_____________。

    過去分詞(短語)作狀語,表時間、條件、原因、讓步、方式或伴隨等情況, 相當(dāng)于一個狀語從句。
    1. 作時間狀語,可轉(zhuǎn)換為when, while或after等引導(dǎo)的狀語從句。
    2. 作條件狀語,可轉(zhuǎn)換為if, nce或unless等引導(dǎo)的狀語從句。
    3. 作原因狀語,可轉(zhuǎn)換為as, since或because等引導(dǎo)狀語從句
    5. 作讓步狀語 ,可轉(zhuǎn)換為althugh, thugh或even if等引導(dǎo)的狀語從句。
    4. 作方式或伴隨狀語 ,則可轉(zhuǎn)換為and并列結(jié)構(gòu)。
    過去分詞短語作狀語時,前面有時可以加上when, if, while, thugh, as if 等連詞,這種結(jié)構(gòu)可以看作是一種省略的狀語從句(省略部分多為 “主語 + be 的多種形式”)。需要注意的是,省略的主語必須和主句的主語相同,如:
    If / When (water is) heated, water changes int steam.Even if (I am) invited, I wn’t g.We will nt attack unless (we are) attacked.The girl is very shy, and never speaks until (the girl is)spken t.

    Example:The Silver Hall is usually used fr singing perfrmances and is full f cheers and energy.=Usually used fr singing perfrmances, the Silver Hall is full f cheers and energy.

    過去分詞作狀語:現(xiàn)在分詞作狀語:
    Difference:
    現(xiàn)在分詞作狀語時,現(xiàn)在分詞所表示的動作與句子的主語之間是邏輯上的主謂關(guān)系,即表主動。
    過去分詞作狀語時,過去分詞所表示的動作與句子的主語之間是邏輯上的動賓關(guān)系,即表被動。
