(1)if 引導的條件狀語從句
條件狀語從句是在復合句中作條件狀語的句子。表示假如有從句的動作發(fā)生就會有主句的動作發(fā)生。條件狀語從句常由連詞if引導。
(一)連接詞if
if如果,是引導條件狀語從句的連接詞,表示主句中動作發(fā)生的條件。
? If you get up early, you will catch the bus. 如果你早起的話,就能趕上那班公共汽車。
? You must see the doctor if you are ill. 如果你生病了,就必須去看醫(yī)生。
(二)if引導的條件狀語從句的構成
構成方式為"主句+if引導的條件狀語從句"或"if引導的條件狀語從句+主句"。在含有條件狀語從句的復合句中,如果主句在前,從句在后,主從句之間不用標點;如要強調從句的內容,則把從句放在主句的前面,這時主從句之間要用逗號隔開。
? I will go to his birthday party if he invites me.
=If he invites me, I will go to his birthday party. 如果他邀請我,我會去參加他的生日聚會。
(三)if引導的條件狀語從句的時態(tài)
在一般情況下,如果主句表示將來的意義,從句用一般現(xiàn)在時表將來。常見的有以下幾種:
1. 主句謂語中有will, shall, won’t 表示將來時,從句用一般現(xiàn)在時。
? You will be late for school if you get up late. 如果你起晚了,上學將會遲到。
? If it rains tomorrow, we won’t go to the Great Wall. 如果明天下雨,我們就不去長城。
2.主句中含有can, may, must等情態(tài)動詞時,從句用一般現(xiàn)在時。
? If I finish my homework, I can watch TV. 如果我完成了家庭作業(yè),就可以看電視。
3.主句是祈使句,從句用一般現(xiàn)在時。[來源:Zxxk.Com]
? Don’t forget to lock the door if you are the last one to leave. 如果你最后一個離開,別忘了鎖門。
4.主句的謂語動詞是want, hope, wish等詞。
? I hope to visit her if I’m free. 如果我有空,我希望去拜訪她。
(四)注意事項
1.在if引導的條件狀語從句中,當主句是一般將來時態(tài)時,一般不使用be going to結構,而要用will。
? I’ll help you with your English if I am free tomorrow. 如果明天我有空,我會幫你學英語。
2.在if引導的條件狀語從句中不能夠使用some,而要用any。
? If you have any questions to ask, please come to my office. 如果你有問題要問的話,請到我辦公室來。
(五)同義句轉換
if引導的條件狀語從句可以轉換成簡單句,其方法如下:
1.借助"祈使句+and/or+簡單句"。其中and表示句意順承,or表示轉折。 [來源:Z#xx#k.Com]

=Work hard, and you’ll pass the exam. 如果你努力學習,你就會通過考試。
? If you don’t hurry up, you’ll be late.
=Hurry up, or you’ll be late. 如果你不快點,你將會遲到。
2.借助介詞with 或without來轉換。
? If you help me, I’ll finish my job soon.
=With your help, I’ll finish my job soon. 如果你幫我,我將很快完成我的工作。
? If there is no water, fish may die.
=Fish may die without water. 如果沒有水,魚可能會死。

述句",表示 "……,否則,……",結合句意可知條件狀語從句,故選C。
(2)情態(tài)動詞should的用法
 情態(tài)動詞should和can,may,must一樣,沒有人稱和數(shù)的變化,有詞意,但都不能單獨作謂語,必須和后面的動詞原形一起構成謂語?;疽馑际牵?,應該",常用來表示建議或命令等。如:
? You should work harder.
你應該更努力地工作。
否定式和疑問式的構成與can ,may 和must一樣。如:
? You shouldn’t play soccer in the street.
你們不應該在街上踢足球。
? Who should pay the taxi driver?
誰應該付出租車錢?
【注意】
常用句型You should /shouldn’t do sth 表示"建議某人(不)做某事"。其他表示"建議"的句型還有:Why not do sth? /Why don’t you do sth? /How about doing sth? /What about doing sth? /It’s a good idea to do sth /You’d better do sth等。
should作為情態(tài)動詞用,常常表示意外、驚奇、不能理解等,有"竟會"的意思,例:
?How should I know? 我怎么知道?
?Why should you be so late today? 你今天為什么來得這么晚?
should有時表示應當做或發(fā)生的事,例:
?We should help each other.我們應當互相幫助。
我們在使用時要注意以下幾點:
1. 用于表示"應該"或"不應該"的概念。此時常指長輩教導或責備晚輩。例:
?You should be here with clean hands. 你應該把手洗干凈了再來。
2. 用于提出意見勸導別人。例如:
?You should go to the doctor if you feel ill. 如果你感覺不舒服,你最好去看醫(yī)生。
3. 用于表示可能性。should的這一用法是考試中常常出現(xiàn)的考點之一。例:
?We should arrive by supper time. 我們在晚飯前就能到了。
?She should be here any moment. 她隨時都可能來。
